Sr Software Engineer

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Product & Data Engineering team. The team is responsible for developing end-to-end software for Disney's consumer-facing products, including streaming platforms Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. The successful candidate will be working on building systems that power content across ESPN products and will be part of a diverse and talented organization focused on building and maintaining complex web applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related work experience
• Extensive experience with JavaScript and JS Frameworks, such as React and NodeJS
• Experience with full stack programming, including JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS, shell scripting and other similar technologies
• Expertise with full lifecycle of application development, including best practices of unit testing, code reviews, documentation, etc.
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill with both technical and non-technical audiences
