The Student Marcom Generalist works with University Unions staff to write, edit and proof marcom copy, cover events with photography and video, and assist in gathering information and metrics to reach as many students as possible and improve the student experience.
Requirements
- Produce creative ideas for marketing, communications and advertising
- Generate creative ideas for social media content and campaigns with teammates
- Create, edit and proof content for internal comms, marcom emails, web, advertising and signage with an emphasis on AP style, tone and marcom best practices
- Provide strong project management in the execution of tactics
- Capture photos and videos of student events and produce live and post-event content for social media usage
- Assist with the development and execution of a long-term social media strategy
- Engage and interact with audiences while maintaining the brand’s voice
- Other duties as assigned that support the efforts of the University Unions communications strategy
