Elementary Co-Op Educator

Are you looking for a fun summer job where you can make a difference? Co-Op Summer Enrichment is an award-winning summer camp for low-income children that delivers STEM learning and camp fun. You’ll be responsible for creating project-based youth education experiences continuing the high-quality STEM education that earned us the Excellence in Summer Learning Award from the National Summer Learning Institute.

Requirements

• Professional Educator: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience or working professionally in a school setting
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; high preference given to those with experience in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, and/or Teaching English to Students of Other Languages
• Rising Educator: Minimum 1 - 2 years of teaching experience or working professionally in a school setting
• Young Educator: Currently attending college/university or have recently graduated; studying education or a related field
• Possesses some student teaching experience
• Possess a valid social security card and NYS state identification
• Take a background check with fingerprint approval if you are not a Mamaroneck School District employee
• Provide two professional references if you are not a Mamaroneck School District employee and are a new Co-Op employee
