The Sports Coach at AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk is responsible for coaching and developing athletes in various ice sports, such as hockey, figure skating, or speed skating. The role involves designing and implementing training programs, providing instruction and feedback, and fostering a positive and competitive environment for athletes.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of coaching/teaching experience in youth programs
• Proven experience as a coach or in a related role in the specific ice sport (hockey, figure skating, speed skating, etc.)
• Ability to demonstrate and participate in on-ice activities
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, predominately after-school and weekends
• Current CPR/FIRST AID certifications
