Instructor - Hurst Aquatics Centers

The Swim Instructor is responsible for conducting swim lessons for both group and one-on-one private swim lessons. Lessons are conducted in the morning hours and may also be offered in the evening. The role involves instructing and developing athletes, designing and implementing training programs, and fostering a positive and competitive environment for athletes.

Requirements

• American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification
• American Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid, CRP/AED certification
• 2-3 years' experience of swim lessons instruction
• Strong swimming ability and knowledge of different swimming techniques
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
• Team player with excellent leadership and motivational skills
• Detail-oriented and outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, predominately after-school and weekends
