Job Description
The Salvation Army of the Syracuse Area is seeking a Resident Manager for their Booth House shelter. The position provides structured therapeutic and supportive activities for runaway and homeless youth aged 12-17. Employees must commit to at least two shifts per month, including weekends and evenings. The role involves developing and implementing activity programs, attending events, providing crisis intervention, and maintaining building security.
Requirements
- Implement daily activity program
- Participate in group events and youth development activities
- Provide crisis intervention counseling
- Assist in meal preparation and housekeeping
- Answer telephone and complete clerical duties
- At least 40 hours of required training
