Psychologist (RPT 0.5 FTE)

The Community Mental Health Program, comprised of 10 teams across Ontario, provides services to individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. They offer a range of models, from intensive to outreach, with a focus on recovery-based support and community integration. The role involves psychological assessments, therapy, team collaboration, and participation in program evaluation and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Doctorate from a CPA/APA Accredited Clinical Psychology Program
• Registration or eligible for Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
• Five years experience post PhD in clinical mental health
• Program development and program evaluation experience an asset
• Experience working with individuals with a Dual Diagnosis is considered an asset
• Knowledge of Inuit culture and experience working with individuals from that culture would be an asset
• Mandatory clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of: anxiety and mood disorders, substance use disorders using evidence-based approaches
• Excellent leadership and communication skills and ability to establish and maintain good working relations
• Commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement, Best Practices and Team Work
• Experience providing clinical services via virtual platforms
