Summer Intern, Mechanical Engineering Design

The Mechanical Design unit of the Engineering Department delivers creative and efficient engineering solutions meeting the goals and objectives of the Port Authority’s capital and operating programs. The internship involves site visits, drafting, and report preparation.

Requirements

• Enrollment at a college or university at the time of the internship
• Major in Mechanical Engineering
• Rising senior
• Strong written and communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft apps
• Interest in public service and/or transportation
• Willingness to learn
• Completed applied thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and heat transfer coursework
• AutoCAD drafting skills
