Job Description
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking an Engineer of Projects to lead meetings, discuss project scope, schedule, risks, and project budgets. The successful candidate will be the main liaison between Engineering Teams and Aviation Project Management partners.
Requirements
- Serve as the main Engineering Department point of contact with Aviation Department partners in project delivery.
- Responsible for the performance of engineering teams regarding project scope, budget and schedule.
- Report to Engineering Senior Staff on project performance regarding compliance with schedule milestones and budget.
- Troubleshoot project issues, participate and lead strategy sessions to implement new initiatives and fast-track projects.
- Collaborate with Aviation Department partners to evaluate project delivery methods.
- Coordinate with Aviation Department partners on the development of scope of work and schedule forecasts for Capital Plan projects and new projects.
- Prepare and lead monthly presentations to Engineering Department Senior Staff on Aviation Portfolio.
