Localisation Editor - European Spanish (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

The Localisation Editor is part of the team responsible for brand management, marketing, licensing, and the Official Pokémon website in Spanish-speaking areas of the world. This 12-month Fixed-Term Contract role will involve editing video game content, ensuring quality and consistency in the use of terminology and style, and potentially becoming a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Pokémon brand and language, and be proficient in translation and editing.

Requirements

• Three (3) to four (4) years of related professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Native-level fluency in the local Spanish language and near-native fluency in English.
• Detailed attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and a team player's ethic.
• Previous experience in the gaming industry (plus) is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing specialized technical programs for editing files is essential.
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure are also required.
