Senior Executive Communications Consultant

Serves as key support and communications partner on the executive communications team for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, providing strategic communications leadership, vision and direction to advance key strategic priorities and drive engagement and reputation with internal and external audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related field
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience, preferably in journalism or strategic communications
• Experience working with executives and in the health care industry is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as presentation and negotiation skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities with demonstrated superior organizational skills
• Ability to manage diverse projects
• Thrives in fast-paced, deadline driven environment, and adapts quickly and easily to shifting priorities and continuous change
• Demonstrates discretion regarding highly confidential matters; highly professional demeanor
• Possesses superior organizational ability and willingness to adapt with shifting priorities; availability to work after-hours upon request
