Job Description
A Post-doctoral research position is currently available in the laboratory of Dr. Andrew Mayer at the Mind Research Network in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Post-doctoral fellow will conduct independent research in the field of traumatic brain injury, assist other members in the lab with research projects, and develop novel research methods as needed.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or M.D. in a directly related field
- Proven record of peer-reviewed publications with demonstrated first-authorship success
- Effectiveness and experience working as part of a large research team
- Superior professional-level verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience with Linux, Python, R and various image analyses software programs (AFNI, FSL and SPM)
