Job Description
The Maintenance Technician assists the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the physical integrity of the community. This involves ensuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Requirements
- Knowledge of pertinent laws and applicable regulations
- Awareness of the condition throughout the property and ability to initiate action to correct unsafe conditions
- Ability to perform basic and advanced HVAC repairs
- Ability to perform basic electrical repairs and light plumbing work
- Carpentry skills
- Painting skills
- Flooring maintenance skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and complete assignments independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment
