Job Description
The Physical Therapist Assistant role involves treating patients of all ages suffering from loss of upper or lower extremity function, balance, or pain. This position follows a treatment plan, collaborates with the physical therapist and family, and aims to promote patient independence. The role requires accurate documentation, effective communication, and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Document assessments and interventions accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families.
- Follow the treatment plan designed by the Physical Therapist.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and case reviews.
- Graduation from a recognized college or university as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Required
