Title I Teacher

This is a full-time, on-site teaching position at a small school in Pontiac, Michigan. The teacher is responsible for creating an engaging learning environment, developing curricula, collaborating with students, parents, and the school leader, and ensuring all students are supported. The role involves creating a classroom conducive to learning and implementing school-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• State teacher licensure/certification with appropriate endorsements
• Bachelor’s degree with subject area emphasis and/or experience
• Demonstrated commitment to young people’s learning success and achievement
• Demonstrated proficiency in a teaching/tutoring capacity
• Evidence of successful experience in student and parent relations
