Energy Expert - Water Sector

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Water Sector Analyst to provide strategic technical expertise and leadership in the water sector. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of relevant experience, a strong background in project management and stakeholder engagement, and an in-depth understanding of sustainable water and wastewater technologies.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Resource Management
• 6+ years of experience in the water sector
• Extensive knowledge of sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure technologies
• Strong existing network within the water sector
• Proven track record of delivering technical support to municipalities and building high-quality stakeholder relationships
• Experience in project analysis and investment pipeline development within the water sector
• Exceptional communication skills
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Fluency in Afrikaans, isiXhosa, or isiZulu in addition to English
