Job Description
The Pitching Coach position at Lawrenceville School involves supporting the Head Coach with game management, defensive strategy, and student development. This role requires coaching players, attending conferences, and adhering to school policies. The successful candidate will model diversity and cultural competency in all aspects of their work.
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience coaching in a high school, college, club, or professional setting
- College, US National, and/or International playing experience
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 2 years experience coaching in a high school or college setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
- Must be able to communicate effectively with groups and/or individuals and deal with peers, the public, students, and parents in a positive, empathetic, and professional manner
- Must be able to review, understand, apply, and share concepts presented in training programs, conferences, and professional literature
- Must be able and willing to manage a Monday-Saturday practice/game schedule with self-discipline
