The Assistant Project Manager supports and manages construction projects to completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards. The role also focuses on building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive construction experience, Project Engineer, Assistant PM, or related role, including at least 1 year of customer-facing experience.
- BA/BS/AS or accredited degree may substitute for up to 4 years of experience.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Intermediate proficiency with project management software (Procore preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and accounting software (Sage preferred); ability to interpret cost spreadsheets, aging reports, and labor productivity reports.
- Working knowledge of AIA Contracts (A101, A121, A133, A401)
