Job Description
The Exploration Company is developing, producing, and operating a modular and reusable space vehicle called Nyx. They are seeking a talented Senior CAD Design Engineer to model the physical architecture of the spacecraft and contribute to its certification. This role involves working with thermal and structural analysis, materials, and manufacturing engineers to ensure compliance with mission requirements.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in mechanical, aerospace or manufacturing engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a CAD Design Engineer
- Strong experience with Siemens NX CAD tool
- Strong knowledge of aerospace vehicle design and challenges
- Strong understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards
- Good understanding of the spacecraft certification process
- Experience in Composite design is a plus
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) is a plus
- Fluent in English, German, French, and Italian
- Strong communication and organizational skills
