Job Description
The Exploration Company is developing a modular space orbital vehicle, Nyx, and is seeking an Avionics System Engineer to design and develop RF communication systems. The role involves RF circuit design, testing, validation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The company emphasizes agility, collaboration, and a focus on democratizing space.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in RF communication system design, preferably in aerospace or satellite communication environments.
- Knowledge of RF circuit design and antenna theory and design for space applications.
- Knowledge of spacecraft communication protocols and standards (e.g., CCSDS).
- Familiarity with space mission lifecycle, including design, integration, testing, and operations phases.
