The Plant Logistics Leader is responsible for overseeing the logistics function and related activities in the Hidden Valley Ranch Manufacturing Plant. They will manage daily operations within the plant's logistics function, ensuring efficient material flow and storage, coordinating with production schedules, and maintaining cost-effective operations.
Requirements
- Direct and coordinate activities related to the handling, storage, and distribution of materials and products in plants.
- Work with the BU Material & Scheduling Management team to ensure scheduling, replenishment, and material management activities for the plant are complete.
- Manage finished goods and HALB inventory, as well as inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, and transportation activities according to the delivery schedule.
- Oversee warehousing procedures, provide technical support on material handling, storage, usage, and equipment performance, and manage the Plant Materials Management team, including Shift Leads and Material Handlers.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in inventory management, shipping and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in email communication, preparing presentations
- Strong understanding of plant working capital, working with the materials team to manage it effectively.
- Support all three shifts and handle emergencies as they arise.
