Registered Nurse - Main CVICU - Full Time - Rotating

The practice of nursing requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide quality patient care. This RN position at The Christ Hospital involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the TCH model of care. The RN utilizes cultural and age specific patient care principles while adhering to American Nursing Association (ANA) code of ethics.

Requirements

• Demonstrates the nursing process to understand patient needs and develop a care plan.
• Performs and delegates nursing actions based on clinical orders.
• Provides ongoing, individualized patient and family education.
• Documents nursing and patient/family response in electronic medical record.
• Participates in departmental and staff meetings.
• Maintains competency in POC testing.
• Complies with organization and department policies.
