Director, Climate

The Director, Climate role is responsible for leading CIFF's climate portfolio, developing and implementing strategies to accelerate the climate transition, and representing the Foundation externally. The role requires a deep understanding of the political economy of climate change, experience in public affairs, corporate decarbonization, and transition finance, as well as excellent leadership and analytical skills.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in relevant areas such as public affairs, corporate decarbonization, transition finance, public communications strategies, and the political economy of climate change
• Strong understanding of the roles and functions of policy making in key geographies in Asia, and/or EMDEs and Europe
• Experience commissioning, coordinating and/or guiding a range of actors towards an overarching influencing/political goal
• Entrepreneurial approach and ability to project manage in a fast paced and unpredictable environment
