Job Description
Cedars of Marin provides person-centered day programs and residential opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities, aiming to inspire creative, productive, healthy, and joyful lives. They seek dedicated and compassionate DSPs who can support residents in their daily living activities, supervise activities, and maintain a safe environment. The position offers a variety of shifts including both 24/hour and fill-in positions.
Requirements
- Assist with goals that help increase a resident’s independent living skills.
- Supervise recreational activities using a positive supportive approach.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment.
- Assist residents with cooking and housekeeping.
- Assist with personal hygiene needs.
- Assist with goals that help increase a resident’s independent living skills.
- CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to acquire them).
- An upbeat, positive attitude and good sense of humor.
