Requirements
- Perform minimal bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations, fixed asset management, and managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Process payroll on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis.
- Prepare GST and FBT reports and returns for New Zealand clients, and BAS/IAS/FBT for Australian clients.
- Prepare annual documents such as Financial Statements, Annual Reports, Resolutions, and Taxation Summaries.
- Prepare Individual, Trust, Partnership, and Company tax returns.
- Assist with internal reviews of deliverables before submission to New Zealand partners.
- Perform ad hoc tasks, including supporting in-house business and process projects.
- Manage client relationships through email and phone as needed.
- Provide coaching and training to new hires on Xero Accounting Software and New Zealand accounting practices.
- Support Managers and Directors with various other accounting duties as needed.
