Job Description
The General Ledger Accountant will perform general accounting functions, prepare and post journal entries, and assist the accounting team.
Requirements
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, amortization, and depreciation
- Provides monthly review and reconciliation of general ledger balance sheet accounts
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Perform month/year-end closing tasks
- Audit Support for annual third-party audit
- Proficiency as backup for accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes
- Proficiency using Docuware invoice storage system
- Provide consolidated information and reporting for all sites as requested
