Procurement Project Manager

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Procurement Project Manager to provide efficient and cost-effective value-added purchasing support to Project Teams. The successful candidate will contribute to the profitability/competitiveness of the company and work collaboratively with the Project team to develop the Procurement Strategy for allocated projects.

Requirements

• Scientific or technical background with a post-secondary degree (Bachelor of Science, Engineering, or equivalent) and additional business education or experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Project Management and/or project-based organizations.
• Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, especially for daily interactions, negotiations, and reporting.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel knowledge.
• Strong understanding of project risk management, evaluation, and mitigation planning.
• Demonstrated ability to drive project completions and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
