Clinical Assistant- Certified Medical Assistant Family Medicine job summary: The Department of Family & Community Medicine has several clinics that achieve the mission of TTUHSC’s School of Medicine: providing care for a broad geographical region’s patient population. The job involves providing care for patients, implementing teaching plans, reporting data, and working collaboratively with other health care team members.
Requirements
- Experience working in a hospital, ambulatory clinic, academic, or community-based setting
- CPR/BLS Certified
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) experience. Epic preferred
- Experience in scribing
- Speaks Spanish fluently
- Experience in collecting specimens for point-of-care testing
- Experience in patient assessment and intake
- Medication administration and reconciliation
