North Texas: Manufacturing Engineering Intern

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Texas Instruments, you will work in a dynamic team-oriented environment, developing process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields. You will be responsible for engineering process optimization efforts to achieve fab cycle time goals, interfacing with various modules and teams to resolve issues that limit yield performance.

Requirements

• Responsibility for all aspects of a wafer fabrication process
• Tool selection and process definition
• Installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Process setup and technician and operator training
• Data analysis to make intelligent improvements to overall fabrication process
• Understanding of all aspects of the process performed, including interaction with other fab processing
• Interface with design, process, test, reliability and manufacturing engineering to solve product issues and production problems
• Development of process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields
• Management of new product introduction and production support engineering for a specific product or group of products
• Engineering process optimization efforts to achieve fab cycle time goals
