We're searching for a Team Leader - House Supervisor at TCH Medical Center. The leader is responsible for ensuring seamless patient care and campus operations that foster family centered care throughout the hospital setting 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
Requirements
- Observes, identifies, and addresses human resources issues for assigned staff.
- Provides leadership coverage and is responsible for the facilitation of patient flow, appropriate placement of patient bed assignments.
- Oversight of hiring, recruitment, and orientation of new nursing and supervisor staff.
- Coaches, counsels, and develops the House Supervisor team to ensure a high-functioning team and the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Ensures accuracy of timekeeping.
- Conducts staff meetings.
- Conducts Performance reviews.
- Supports the implementation of organization’s goals and strategic plan to staff.
- Coordinates and collaborates with appropriate members of the leadership team to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ensures cost-effective and appropriate use of employee resources.
- Ensures appropriate and timely placement of internal and external transfers.
- Acts as a clinical resource for nursing staff and ancillary personnel.
- Serves as the clinical leader/resource to address hospital wide issues and events.
