The Postdoctoral Research Associate will conduct clinical research focused on posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance use disorders (SUD), including participation in clinical trials. The role offers opportunities to lead grant proposals, author peer-reviewed publications, and mentor doctoral students and research staff.
Requirements
- Ph.D in a clinical or counseling psychology
- Prior research training in clinical psychology, behavioral health, or a related field
- Experience in data collection, management, and analysis, including using standardized assessments and contributing to grant writing
- Strong record of peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations in traumatic stress
- Advanced data analysis skills, including use of statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R, SAS)
- Prior involvement in successful grant applications or funded research projects
- Experience mentoring and supervising students or research assistants in a clinical or research setting
- Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency with data management and reporting platforms such as redcap
- Experience conducting statistical analysis using software such as SPSS, R, or SAS
- Familiarity with ecological momentary assessment (EMA) tools
- Ability to manage and analyze large, complex datasets with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project needs
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary work team
