Dean, College of Engineering and Computing

Texas A&M University—Texarkana is seeking an inaugural Dean of the College of Engineering and Computing. The Dean will provide strategic and visionary leadership for the College, develop new programs, and increase the research profile of the college.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Civil Engineering
• Record of successful administrative experience and leadership in a university setting at the level of Department Chair/Head or higher
• Minimum of eight (8) years teaching experience in higher education
• Evidence of commitment to student-centered education
• Experience with academic and professional accreditation processes (e.g., ABET)
• Demonstrated excellence in research resulting in publication
• Experience with student recruitment
• Experience with strategic planning
• Experience with undergraduate and graduate-level curriculum development, program development, implementation, and evaluation
