Associate Professor/Professor & Division Chair, Health Professions

Texas A&M University-Texarkana is inviting applications for the Associate or Full Professor & Division Chair, Health Professions position to support the Better East Texas initiative. The successful candidate will contribute to a new academic program intended to provide a positive impact on East Texas.

Requirements

• Earned terminal degree in kinesiology, healthcare administration, health sciences, physical therapy, or closely related field
• Academic experience equivalent to a tenured Associate or Full Professor at Texas A&M University-Texarkana
• Two (2) or more years administrative experience such as director, program coordinator, chair, or department head
• Distinguished record of teaching, scholarship, and leadership
• Experience in accreditation-related tasks and other institutional service activities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of computer applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database capabilities
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with all segments of the student population
