The Associate, Logistics role supports the overall Logistics Department, requiring strong organizational skills, customer service, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Answer customer inquiries with customer service as a top priority
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate shipping documents
- Develop a general understanding of customer specifics
- Schedule/monitor shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity
- Provide shipping quotes to the sales/operations teams
- Comfortability with equipment management, including preventative maintenance and repair
- Help to build full, efficient routes by reaching out to existing customers
- Recommend process improvements for area of responsibility
- Report compliance matters to appropriate manager
