Job Description
Lead and manage archaeological field projects, develop and implement research designs, conduct artifact analysis, and prepare technical reports. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to cultural resources.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or closely related field
- Minimum of 5 years' related experience
- Intimately familiar with the cultural history of the region and surrounding areas
- Secretary of Interior (SOI) qualified
- Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history
- Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) Certification
- Proficiency in GIS, GPS, and other archaeological field technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to conduct fieldwork in various environmental conditions
