Teradyne is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Nextest Memory Division within their testing and automation solutions. The role involves developing design solutions, conducting DFMs, preparing drawings and BOMs, and validating prototypes. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, particularly for working remotely.
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design
- Stress/strain analysis and FEA skills
- Proficient with Solidworks (or similar)
- Sheetmetal, machined, plastic injection molded part design experience
- Cable harness design experience
- General mechanism design experience
- SEMI, IEC/EN/UL compliance standards familiarity
- Experience with Semiconductor package handlers and wafer probers is a plus
