Job Description
At Terabase Energy, we are developing an interconnected software and construction automation platform to support the design, optimization, and construction of huge solar projects around the world. We are seeking a Category Manager- Robotics Division to own global sourcing and supplier management for robotics, automation, motion, and control systems. The role will involve building and executing multi-year category strategies, negotiating MSAs and SOWs, developing suppliers, and securing capacity to meet cost, quality, delivery, and uptime goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field
- 10–12 years in sourcing or supply management with at least 5 years in robotics or industrial automation
- Proven MSAs and SOWs ownership with integrators, robot OEMs, motion and controls vendors
- Strong commercial analytics: TCO, should-cost, FX, and tariff literacy
- Technical fluency: Read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Working knowledge of Rockwell or Siemens PLCs, robot brands such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, or Yaskawa, and vision systems
- ERP proficiency and excellent Excel. NetSuite experience is a plus
