Product Designer - New Product Development

We're looking for a highly motivated, talented Product Designer to join our NPD team, supporting the Lead Designer in bringing the next generation of TentBox products to life, focusing on technical detail, mechanical challenges, and design eye to ensure every part retains the look and feels of a TentBox product.

Requirements

• Technical Foundation: A degree in Product Design, Design Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
• Proven Track Record: 3+ years of experience in developing consumer goods, with a portfolio that demonstrates both mechanical logic and aesthetic sensibility.
• Software Fluency: High proficiency in 2D and 3D tools (SolidWorks/Rhino, Keyshot, and Adobe Creative Suite) to visualise and communicate design intent.
• Manufacturing Knowledge: A solid understanding of various production processes and materials, with the ability to design components that are both functional and commercially viable.
• Detail-Oriented Mindset: You enjoy the deep dive, getting into the weeds of a technical problem to find an elegant, robust solution.
• Communication: The ability to clearly communicate technical challenges and progress to the Lead Designer and wider NPD team.
• Experience: 3+ years of industry experience (excluding placement) with a portfolio to demonstrate - not graduates please.
