Job Description
TensorWave is seeking a Data Center Build Engineer with expertise in liquid cooling systems to lead the deployment of next-generation cooling infrastructure in high-density data center environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent field experience)
- 5+ years of experience in data center builds, with at least 2 years focused on liquid or advanced cooling technologies
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems design, fluid dynamics, and thermal management in mission-critical environments
- Hands-on experience deploying liquid cooling infrastructure (e.g., CDUs, cold plates, rear-door heat exchangers)
- Familiarity with relevant standards (ASHRAE TC9.9, Uptime Institute) and environmental health/safety best practices
- Proficiency with construction coordination tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam) and mechanical layout interpretation
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and on-site coordination skills
