Job Description
The Corporate Coder functions under the direction of the Health Information Corporate Coding Manager, responsible for accurate coding and abstracting of clinical information, maintaining standards for coding data quality and integrity, and assisting with training and projects.
Requirements
- Accurately and productively code/abstract patient health documentation
- Review flagged cases for coding accuracy
- Assist in coding quality reviews/audits and second level reviews
- Attend Tenet coding educations and maintain coding credentials
