Lead Test Engineer (QA)

Tenchi is a Cyber Security company focused on Third-Party Cyber Risk Management for businesses. They are seeking a Lead Test Engineer to establish and grow their testing area, combining hands-on technical work with leadership in defining processes and tooling. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader passionate about building high-quality software.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of manual testing, automation practices, and modern testing frameworks (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred)
• Proven ability to define processes, set standards, and influence a culture of quality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on mindset and willingness to build tests
• Experience with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Jest
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Prior experience in a founding QA role or building a test area from scratch
• Familiarity with bug tracking/project management tools
