Job Description
Telesat, a leading global satellite operator, is seeking an Integration Specialist to design, develop, and manage complex enterprise-level application integrations. The role focuses on securing data flow, implementing automated integration patterns, and ensuring system interoperability through API integration, secure messaging, and event-driven architectures. This position supports the successful interoperability of cloud-native, real-time, and legacy systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise application integration or related roles.
- Proven hands-on experience with API design, security, management, and gateway (REST, SOAP, APIM, OAuth 2.0, JWT).
- Strong scripting/programming background (Python, Java).
- Experience integrating modern and legacy systems using streaming platforms, ETL tools, and message queues (Kafka, Snowpipe, RabbitMQ, Data Factory / DataBricks / Snowflake).
- Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostGres, SQL Server, Redis, MongoDB.
- Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
