Land Restoration Technician III

The primary responsibility of this position is to implement and maintain land restoration projects. This position provides support in habitat implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of landscape construction and revegetation projects.

Requirements

• Perform the duties of a Restoration Technician II
• Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, skid steers, tractors, backhoes, masticators, etc.
• Independently install, operate, and maintain various irrigation systems
• Install, operate, maintain, and repair culverts and water control structures
• Recommend and order materials, supplies, and equipment for upcoming restoration projects
• Perform labor tasks along with labor crews to set production and quality standards
• Coordinate and manage work crews and contractors
