Site Reliability Engineer

Tecsys is seeking Site Reliability Engineers to join their Network and Security Operations Center (NSOC) team. The role focuses on improving the reliability and uptime of the platform and applications by working with a high degree of autonomy, working closely with the NOC team manager, and contributing to global service delivery in a data-driven way. The position requires familiarity with multi-vendor platforms, scalable systems, and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline
• 5+ years’ experience in systems engineering
• Demonstrable experience in new platform development, orchestration, product ownership, and iterative design and deployment
• Experience designing and deploying large scale systems, multi-vendor platforms and globally distributed infrastructure
• High level of understanding and examples of executing projects with full stack automation
• Self-organizing and collaborating effectively in cross-functional environments
• Proficiency in basic to advanced knowledge of Datadog, Rapid7 Insight, AWS, and Azure
• Basic knowledge of Java/Net development and GitLab
• Experience with SaaS company is a strong asset
• Escalation on-call rotation
