Mechanical Designer Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer Engineer to join our R&D Team at Technogym HQ (Italy – Cesena). The ideal candidate has a strong interest and proven capabilities in mechanical design, responsible for executing mechanical projects in compliance with requirements, costs, and deadlines, guaranteeing the expected product performance, quality and reliability.

Requirements

• Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience in executing designs of machines or functional groups of machines independently, taking care of the layout, dimensioning and engineering
• Expert user of 3D CAD systems (preferably PTC Creo) and skilled at modelling solids and surfaces
• Experience in projects with challenging objectives relating to the product cost (preferably in product-driven companies)
• Good knowledge of the rules of dimensioning of mechanical parts in carpentry / metal materials and plastics and ability to conduct analytical structural evaluation/verification
• Knowledge of the main manufacturing technologies, processes and cost drivers and ability to use them in process design
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in English and Italian
