Infant Development Specialist (IDS) – Antioch, Brentwood, Pittsburg

Teamwork Therapies provides Speech, Occupational, Physical, and Early Intervention services to the pediatric population in the Central Valley and Bay Area. We provide clinic, home-based therapy services, school, and nursing home services. The current need is for an IDS in the Antioch, Brentwood, Pittsburg areas willing to do home-based Early Intervention Services.

Requirements

• Provides early intervention services to children ages 0-3 who have been identified as having, or being at risk of developmental delay or disability.
• Supports parents and care providers by modeling strategies and providing education to promote their child’s unique development.
• Sets and monitors children’s goals in accordance with the child’s Individualized Family Service Plan.
• Works as part of an interdisciplinary team and collaborate with other therapist and case manager.
• Assesses, evaluates, and consults on a child’s developmental progress using discipline-specific assessment tools.
• Develops individual client goals and plans curriculum according to child and family’s needs.
• Completes billing in a timely manner
• Provides suggestions and educational materials through written and verbal communication to their parents/care providers.
• Supports parents in learning ways to foster their child’s unique development.
• Provides other resources and makes referrals to other support services as needed.
• Completes necessary documentation within the required timeframe, including treatment notes and progress reports.
