Job Description
Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is seeking a Medical Assistant to assist in providing nursing care and supporting a medical group practice. The role involves performing lab work, venipuncture, preparing patients for exams, assisting providers with procedures, and coordinating patient calls. Responsibilities also include maintaining the medical group's functions and adhering to department and policy procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum: High School diploma or GED
- Minimum: Medical Assistant Certification
- Required Experience: Two or more years of patient care, giving injections, working labs, etc. in an outpatient setting
- Preferred: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
