Medical Assistant

Assist in providing nursing care to practice patients, maintain the functions of a medical group practice, and provide direct patient care by doing lab work, venipuncture, and administering injections and treatments.

Requirements

• Minimum: High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum: No experience required if medical assistant program has been completed and certification received.
• Preferred: Two or more years of patient care, giving injections, working labs, etc. in an outpatient setting.
• Minimum: Medical Assistant Certification.
• Preferred: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
