Principal AI Engineer - Mechanical / Mechatronics (Internal Use)

This role focuses on designing and developing mechanical structures and components for autonomous robotic platforms using CAD software. The principal AI Engineer will perform structural analysis, design actuation systems, and prototype components. Collaboration with electrical, control, and software engineers is essential to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs. The position is internal use.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in robotics hardware design and development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials science, manufacturing processes, kinematics, and dynamics.
• Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping techniques (e.g., 3D printing, machining).
• Experience designing and building functional robotic systems or complex mechatronic devices.
