Senior Quality Engineer

Sysco LABS Sri Lanka is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team. The role involves creating and enhancing test cases, providing feedback to junior team members, and reviewing functional and non-functional requirements. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, at least 3 years of experience in software testing, and expertise in quality engineering methodologies and continuous integration systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in software testing
• Experience in test planning, test design, and functionality testing
• Experience in API testing, including test design and execution
• Experience in UI/API automation using Selenium/RestAssured
• Expert knowledge of quality engineering methodologies and continuous integration systems
• Experience in QE tools such as QMetry, JIRA and Confluence
• Strong Knowledge in Java, OOP concepts and coding standards
• Skilled at evaluating existing processes and procedures and making recommendations for improvement
• A solid practical understanding on Agile Software Testing and Software Engineering concepts
• Effective communication (oral and written) skills including problem-solving, prioritizing and interpersonal relationship building
• A thirst for learning and regularly updating knowledge
• Must possess the ability to work independently and maintain good relationships with team members
